Key responsibilities

  • Handle all telephone and personal enquiries courteously and promptly
  • Organise gym memberships and renewals

Job Description

A vacancy has become available for a Leisure Assistant at the five star park; Hawkchurch Resort & Spa.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with experience within a gym or pool setting to join our friendly team at Hawkchurch. The role is part time and will include evening and weekend hours. Duties will include working on the leisure reception to handle bookings and enquiries, ensuring the complex is kept clean and safe at all times and conducting safety checks on equipment.

Experience with exercise to music and a current NPLQ are advantages to the role, however Gym Instructor Level 2, or Level 3 Personal Training are essential.

This role is ideal for candidates searching for Leisure Assistant jobs within a commutable distance of Axminster.

What experience you will need
  • Previous experience within a similar role is desirable
  • Level 3 Personal Training or Level 2 Gym Instructor qualification is essential
  • Current NPLQ is an advantage
  • Excercise to music qualification is an advantage
