Stunning Holiday Lodges in Surrey

If you are looking for log cabins in Surrey, then we have the perfect solution at Tilford Woods Lodge Retreat.

Our self catered lodges have been built from the ground up to offer the premier standards in comfort and convenience with generously furbished interiors and fantastic features. If you’re looking to have a cosy evening in with a loved one, we offer contemporary and traditional holiday lodges with saunas, hot tubs and warming interiors. Why not pop down to reception to rent a DVD and grab a tub of locally made ice cream?

The Darwin Escapes team works tirelessly to ensure that the grounds are just as stunning as the lodges themselves. We intend to ensure that the park remains tranquil and relaxing so you can truly take full advantage of your luxury holiday lodge in Surrey. You can even meet the local wildlife, with Tilford Woods having its own family of friendly ducks who regularly patrol the retreat. You might even spot the odd squirrel or moorhen.

Things to do in the Area

For those who are more adventurous, there’s plenty to see and do with the locally renowned Devil’s Punchbowl, Europe’s largest spring eroded valley. The nearby market town of Farnham offers a fantastic array of historic castles, abbey ruins, rich museums and more!

Farnham also has its own train station with regular direct trips to London available. You can utilise these relatively short trips (approximately 50 minutes) to fully explore everything that the capital has to offer, without spending your entire holiday in a concrete jungle. Why not pop down to the shopping hotspot of Oxford Street or get up close and personal with some famous faces at Madame Tussauds.

If you are on a family holiday in Surrey and looking for a day filled with adrenaline, you could pop down to Thorpe Park which is 40 minutes down the road. Now one of the UK’s most popular theme parks, there is something for all the family with attractions including Angry Birds Land, Nemesis Inferno and Quantum.

You can have a slightly gentler family day out at Birdworld which is one of England’s largest bird parks covering a total of 26 acres and having more than 150 different species of bird.

Tilford Woods really is the perfect location if you are looking for luxury holiday lodges in Surrey, regardless of whether you’re looking for a relaxing break for two or a fun-filled activity break for all of the family to enjoy.

  • Just home from a weeks stay in the Stuart Lodge with my wife and 2 young kids. We had a great stay. The Lodge was very clean and well stocked with everything a family needs to feel at home from home....i.e. microwave,cooker/oven,full size fridge, plenty of cups/glasses/bowls/dishes etc. The lodges have a veranda with chairs/table so one can eat outside and enjoy a glass of wine relaxing in the calm surroundings. There is a pub (Duke of Cambridge) right next to the Lodges with a beer garden and children's playground which the kids absolutely loved. The food is excellent there...

  • Wow what a fab place to chill out, friendly staff, lovely surroundings with ducks coming up to your front door. If you want to get away and chill it's like a little remote heaven. Comfy clean accommodation and we hired a barbie. Pub on site with fab food. Your every need is catered for including getting fab food from the locals. I think I will definitely be booking a few more short stays here, can't wait to get a hot tub next time. Would be ideal to bring the family for a great get together. Great places to visit locally...

  • Just returned home from a absolutely fabulous time at Tilford Woods. Very small site of about 34 lodges which made it quiet and tranquil allowing the wildlife to come up to the door and visit. Staff friendly and helpful too. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for that quiet getaway. Only 2 words of warning; the entrance sign is very small and easy to miss, and the basin tap gets some getting used to. Very minor issues...
