General Questions
Can we use bikes around the park?

Please follow the same strict rules you would outside the park. We strongly advise that, for your protection, if you or any member of your family or guests use or ride bicycles, skateboards, scooters or heelies; please wear helmets and reflective clothing.

Does Talacre Beach resort take dogs?

In specific rental units, holiday guests at Talacre Beach Holiday Home Park are allowed to bring their pets with them. Please include your pet on the booking form.

Holiday Home owners are most welcome to to bring their pets. You’ll find complementary poop-scoop bags at reception for your convenience.

How far is Talacre Beach from the village?

We are only a 5-minute walk from the bakery, shops and pub of Talacre Village.

How far to the beach from the park?

To reach the beach from the park it is a 5-minute walk down Station Road.

How to get to Talacre Beach?

Once into North Wales, Talacre Beach Holiday Home Park is easily accessible via the A548 and the A55. We are only a 45-minute drive from Chester, 1 hour from Liverpool and 1 hour 30 minutes from Manchester.

What’s the nearest train station to Talacre Beach?

The closest train station to Talacre Beach Holiday Home Park is Prestatyn Railway Station (PRT), which is around 4.5 miles away from our park. It will usually take 10 minutes by car to reach Talacre Beach Holiday Home Park.

Can anyone use the pool at Talacre beach?

The pool is exclusively available for owners and holidaymakers only. Currently there is no pass available for the general public.

Can you have BBQs at Talacre Beach?

Safety is paramount here at Talacre Beach Holiday Home Park and all precautions should be taken to ensure any BBQ doesn’t present a hazard to yourself and other guests. BBQs must be free standing and be taken down when not in use and at night.

Do the caravans have a freezer compartment?

Not all of them.

Do we provide towels?

Towels are only provided in the lodge accommodation here at Talacre Beach Holiday Home Park.

Does Talacre Beach resort take dogs?

How much is a family pass at Talacre Beach?

Currently at Talacre Beach, we don’t offer any type of family pass, which allows use of the facilities for non-holidaymakers.

Parking next to the caravan?

The availability of parking bays and spaces situated directly next to the accommodation varies throughout the park; however there are ample spaces available to leave your vehicle. We allow for one car per caravan.

What time do children have to leave the Country Club in Talacre Beach?

On Saturday nights and Bank Holidays it is asked that children leave the Country Club by 9pm. We appreciate your cooperation.

What time does the shop open on Talacre beach?

The shop at Talacre Beach has varying opening times throughout the year. During peak season the shop will usually be open from 6:30am and out of season from 9:00am.

Can I choose the location of my holiday home?

Of course, the park is set over 45 acres – there’s a spot perfect for you and your new holiday home.

Does Talacre close for winter?

The park is closed for guests between 6th January and 1st March. Our offices remain open for sales enquires all year round.

How many months is Talacre Holiday Home Park open?

Our owners and holidaymakers are able to use their holiday homes for over 10 months of the year from the 1st March to 6th January – our main reception and sales office is open 12 months of the year.

How much are site fees at Talacre Beach?

On selected new and ex-demonstration holiday homes site fees are included until March 2018*. Static caravan site fees start from £4,376. Find out more here.

What about safety?

We have security guards on duty 24 hours a day plus CCTV, all for your peace of mind.

What are the running costs?

The running of your holiday home may cost less than you think, please contact us for more information.

What happens if I need support?

Each day we have a duty manager available, as well as our experienced customer care department to deal with all of your needs; whether it is sales, account queries, maintenance, tourist information etc.

What time does the office shut at Talacre Beach?

During peak season (1st March – 31st October) the sales office is open 9:30 to 6:30pm and off-peak / winter opening hours can vary. Any sales enquiries that require a later appointment, please contact our team on 01745 858010.

What’s included in site fees?

Site fees pay for the grounds/gardens and maintenance of the park, full use of all the facilities – tropically heated swimming pool with sauna, steam room and gymnasium, bar, restaurant, owners lounge, cabaret bar, teenager zone, kids club and entertainment, Go active activity programme FREE WI FI and 24 hour security.

Who can use my caravan, apart from myself?

You can have up to as many as 12 family and close friend member passes for your holiday home. For especially large families, we can extend this.

Park Questions
What is Darwin Escapes’ Dog Policy?

We’re pet-friendly, but do have a few rules to ensure the park can be enjoyed by pet-owners and non-pet-owners alike.

We ask that no dogs, pets, or animals of any kind may occupy a non pet unit without the prior permission of the Park Manager. (This can be achieved by including your pet on your booking form to ensure you are allocated a pet-friendly unit).

a. Where allowed, all pets must at all times be kept under proper control and must not enter any facility building. (excluding guide dogs)

b. Dogs must be kept on a lead at all times (unless in the dedicated dog areas) and prevented from fouling.

c. All fouling should be disposed of immediately in an appropriate manner.

d. In accordance with the Dangerous Dog Act 1991, the following breeds of dog are not permitted anywhere on the park at any time: Pit-bull Terrier Japanese Tosa, Dogo Argentino, Fila Braziliero as well as any other breed at the Park Manager’s discretion.
