One of the Best Golf Courses in Oxfordshire
The Springs undoubtedly offers one of the best golf courses in Oxfordshire, with a varied mix of terrain helping to create a challenging course which will keep the regulars busy but is also accessible for beginners. The course has been purposefully designed this way by former Ryder Cup captain Brian Huggett who has utilised his vast experience to come up with a highly regarded configuration. How many golf courses in Oxfordshire can you think of which are designed by a Ryder Cup legend?
Our course is set on 133 acres of stunning countryside in what is considered to be an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Revel in the landscape and relish the challenge on your day of golf.
Not only are our course and the backdrop well renowned by enthusiasts, but our facilities are also second to none with our clubhouse located in our on-site Tudor style complex which is a visual feast for the eyes. Speaking of feasts, you will also be able to sample some of the finest cuisine in the area during your visitor day with an eclectic menu on offer prepared by industry leading chefs. Hot drinks and alcoholic beverage are also purchasable here from our well stocked clubhouse Spike bar.
Dress Code & Conduct
Prior to arriving at The Springs, we would ask that all golf day visitors take a look at our dress code. Whilst we do encourage a relaxed atmosphere so as to facilitate congenial golf days out, we also request that visitors wear smart/casual golf clothing as well as golf shoes to help protect our much valued and well maintained course.
To give you an idea of the type of clothing we would recommend, we would suggest that any gentleman golf visitors wear collared polo shirts or mock turtleneck golf shirts whilst ladies are recommended to wear collarless shirts which have sleeves. Both genders are requested to wear golf shoes and also socks. If visitors are going to wear shorts, then we must request that they are tailored for golf being smart in appearance and worn in combination with socks.
We also request that all visitors bring their own bags and clubs as none will be available for hire at The Springs. However, we do have an on-site Pro golf shop where various golf equipment and fashion items will be available for purchase should you wish to take advantage of this.
In terms of conduct, mobile phones must be put on silent whilst on the golf course and only used in the event of an emergency.
Any members bringing visitors along are deemed responsible for ensuring that their guests adhere to the above guidelines.
