Point of Ayr Lighthouse

CH8 9RS | 5 min drive from resort

Walk the sandy Talacre beach to the famous lighthouse. Built in 1776, it’s Wales’ oldest lighthouse, and keeps watch over the Irish Sea. Make sure to look up for The Keeper art sculpture which sits atop the lighthouse, looking out to the sea.

There are many stories about the lighthouse and it is known as one of the most haunted structures on the coast (spooky!) which you can learn more about on your trip there. (Remember to take a friend!)
