Located in the heart of the Derbyshire Peak District, you can take in the spectacular natural beauty around you of the limestone quarry, endless wildlife and outstanding views of the countryside.

The Peak District really is an outdoor playground for all ages, where you can enjoy everything from walking and cycling to horse riding and quad biking. The famous Tissington Trail is only 100 metres away from Rivendale and there are footpaths reaching all the way to Eaton, Alsop Dales and Dovedale.

Discover all the hidden gems of the region on outdoor adventures around the local area, meet the local wildlife, including bats, newts and even highland cattle on your travels through the villages.

An all-weather holiday, there a lots of charming market towns to visit in Derbyshire, including Buxton, Bakewell and Ashbourne, which has the best fish and chip shop in the area! And of course, with a rich history in the local area there are a number of stately homes you can visit, including Chatsworth, Haddon and Kedleston. For the more adventurous head to the nearby Alton Towers and Gullivers Kingdom for day of rollercoasters and thrill-seeking.

There really is something for everyone to enjoy in the Peak District, even if you’d like to sit, relax and read a book on your decking while taking in the beautiful scenery around you.
