Can we use bikes around the park?
Please follow the same strict rules you would outside the park. We strongly advise that, for your protection, if you or any member of your family or guests use or ride bicycles, skateboards, scooters or heelies; please wear helmets and reflective clothing.
How far is Mullion Cove Coastal Retreat to the harbour?
We are ideally situated close to the harbour of Mullion which is only a five minute walk away.
How far to the beach from the park?
There are two local beaches which are close to Mullion Cove Coastal Retreat which are Poldhu Cove Beach (5 minute drive) and Polurrian Beach (20 minute walk).
How to get to Mullion Cove from the park?
To get to Mullion Cove from Mullion Cove Coastal Retreat- come out the park onto main road and turn left. It is a 5 minute walk down from there.
What attractions are there near Mullion Cove Coastal Retreat?
We are closely situated to an array of local attractions, beaches and cafes including Flambards, The Lizard Peninsula and Kennack Sands.
What’s the nearest train station to Mullion Cove Coastal Retreat?
The nearest railway station to Mullion Cove Coastal Retreat is Redruth located approximately 18 miles away.

Are towels provided?
Yes. Towels are provided within all the lodge accommodation here at Mullion Cove Coastal Retreat.
Can you have BBQs at Mullion Cove Coastal Retreat?
Yes you can, however all visitors must adhere to the parks safety standards and ensure the BBQ is never left unattended.
Do the lodges include a fridge and freezer?
Yes all of our lodge accommodation here at Mullion Cove Coastal Retreat have a fridge freezer for guests to use.
Does Mullion Cove Coastal Retreat allow dogs?
Yes- we have lodges allocated for pets.
Is there a shop on site at Mullion Cove Coastal Retreat?
No there is not, however there are two small supermarkets nearby in Mullion.
Is there parking available next to the lodges?
Each lodge here at Mullion Cove Coastal Retreat has an allocated space for guests to use.
What is Darwin Escapes’ Dog Policy?
We’re pet-friendly, but do have a few rules to ensure the park can be enjoyed by pet-owners and non-pet-owners alike.
We ask that no dogs, pets, or animals of any kind may occupy a non pet unit without the prior permission of the Park Manager. (This can be achieved by including your pet on your booking form to ensure you are allocated a pet-friendly unit).
a. Where allowed, all pets must at all times be kept under proper control and must not enter any facility building. (excluding guide dogs)
b. Dogs must be kept on a lead at all times (unless in the dedicated dog areas) and prevented from fouling.
c. All fouling should be disposed of immediately in an appropriate manner.
d. In accordance with the Dangerous Dog Act 1991, the following breeds of dog are not permitted anywhere on the park at any time: Pit-bull Terrier Japanese Tosa, Dogo Argentino, Fila Braziliero as well as any other breed at the Park Manager’s discretion.
