The stream nurtures many species of water life and the valley provides an ideal environment for wildlife which can be seen in abundance; a haven for flora and fauna just minutes from the city. Newly Renovated Facilities

Darwin Escapes invested heavily into this tired, old camping and touring site as part of a multi-million pound redevelopment, now Bath Mill Lodge Retreat has been made one of the most desirable holiday destinations in Somerset.

This redevelopment has led to stylish and heavily equipped holiday lodges, ranging from one to four bedrooms which are ideal for all types of holiday’s, including short city breaks, singles holidays or fun filled family holidays in Bath.

We have also invested heavily in the facilities on the resort, resulting in a stunning complex. This includes our brand new licensed bar and bistro, The Brook, named for Newton Brook which flows through the resort, is located in our tastefully refurbished 350-year-old mill house. Providing fabulous food and a great selection of beverages, you’ll be able to enjoy refreshments in a delightful setting. Keep fit during your stay in our fabulous modern gym, also housed in the sympathetically renovated mill; boasting all the latest equipment you’ll be able to enjoy a dessert at The Brook, without the guilt! A state-of-the-art suite is also available to hire, for business or for family functions.

We rang to enquire if we could perhaps have an up-grade bearing in mind the holiday price we had paid, we were told that we could up-grade but it would cost a further £31 for admin. That would...
