FAQs - Aberconwy Resort & Spa

All of our resorts are now open. Aberconwy Spa is open Tuesday-Saturday and Signatures Restaurant is open Wednesday-Sunday. Our leisure facilities may be limited and/or operating at reduced capacity. Please call 01492 572 002 to make an appointment or reservation.

General Questions

Do you have access to the beach?

Holiday home owners at Aberconwy will benefit from direct access to Conwy Morfa beach which sits alongside our resort.

This beach is dog friendly, providing owners with ideal location at which to walk their four legged friends throughout our 12 month season

How far are you from Llandudno and Conwy?

A short 10 minute drive will get you to Llandudno, 5 minutes in the car will get you to Conwy and Conwy Marina is only a two minute drive from the Park. Both Conwy and Conwy Marina are within walking distance for those who want to stretch their legs!

Is Aberconwy open in the winter?

We are open 12 Months, all year round for your holiday.

Is the park on one level?

Yes, it is.

Where is the nearest supermarket?

There is a Tesco and mini Asda at Junction 18 of the A55 – a short 5 minute drive away.

Can I choose the location of my holiday home?

Yes, there are plots available and you are able to choose your own.

How much are site fees at Aberconwy Resort & Spa?

Selected holiday homes & lodges purchased at Aberconwy Resort & Spa will have free site fees until March 2021*. Find out more here.

Can you park next to the caravan?

We have parking bays next to your caravan/lodge.

How do I get to Aberconwy?

Junction 17 off the A55, and follow the signs or set your satnav to postcode: LL32 8GA

Is Aberconwy pet friendly?

Yes, all animals are welcome, well behaved dogs are welcome at Aberconwy Resort & Spa. We ask that they are always on their lead and cleaned up after.

What are receptions opening times?

Our reception at Aberconwy Resort & Spa is open daily 9.00 -5.00pm.

What is Darwin Escapes' dog policy?

We’re pet-friendly, but do have a few rules to ensure the park can be enjoyed by pet-owners and non-pet-owners alike.

We ask that no dogs, pets, or animals of any kind may occupy a non pet unit without the prior permission of the Park Manager. (This can be achieved by including your pet on your booking form to ensure you are allocated a pet-friendly unit).

a. Where allowed, all pets must at all times be kept under proper control and must not enter any facility building. (excluding guide dogs)

b. Dogs must be kept on a lead at all times (unless in the dedicated dog areas) and prevented from fouling.

c. All fouling should be disposed of immediately in an appropriate manner.

d. In accordance with the Dangerous Dog Act 1991, the following breeds of dog are not permitted anywhere on the park at any time: Pit-bull Terrier Japanese Tosa, Dogo Argentino, Fila Braziliero as well as any other breed at the Park Manager’s discretion.
