You’ll benefit from the best of both worlds whilst staying at Bath Mill, with city life just a short jaunt away yet beautiful scenery and countryside are right on your doorstep. Venture to the city centre for a spot of retail therapy and discover Bath’s vast roman history or enjoy a bite to eat in one of the many local pubs and restaurants.
Alternatively, the whole family would have countless fun filled days at Cheddar Woods Resort & Spa which is located just a stones throw away from Cheddar Gorge. There is simply no reason to leave the park though once you are here, with a wide variety of activities and facilities to be enjoyed including a tropically heated swimming pool, bowling alley and much more. Cheddar Woods Resort & Spa
Cheddar Woods Resort & Spa is a 5 star establishment nestled in the peaceful Mendip Hills. The facilities available at this resort are varied and include an indoor swimming pool as well as other entertainment facilities near our on-site bar where you will find a bowling alley and pool tables. We even have a golf simulator if you want to get a bit of practice in away from the course.

Bath Mill Lodge Retreat
We have invested heavily in a complete refurbishment of Bath Mill Lodge Retreat to create one of the finest holiday resorts in the region. We have one to four bedroom lodges available depending on your requirements, with all our lodges meeting up to the high standards you would expect from Darwin Escapes.
There is an on-site gymnasium available on the resort, as well as the excellent Brook Bistro which is famous in the area for its high standard cuisine and beverages. The surroundings are up to the same standards as the meals, with The Brook being located in a recently renovated 350 year old mill house. The fact that this is located on the resort is a key benefit for holiday makers stay at Bath Mill.
The resort is located over two miles outside of Bath city centre, with a scenic walking route into the centre available along the Newton Brook which runs past the park. There is also easy driving access to the city where you find ample parking opportunities.
