Visit these playful primates this Halloween and if your little on goes in fancy dress they’ll get in for free! Enter into the fancy dress competition and win a fabulous prize, the activity centre will be open and ready to entertain and educate! Home to 250 rescued and endangered animals, you can learn more about these beautiful and fascinating primates, while having some fangtastic fun!

There will be daily Spooky Halloween Shows in the theatre to enjoy and enter the family friendly live action Scare Maze, where you’ll meet giant spiders and lots of hidden spooks around every corner. The Great Half Term Dinosaur Hunt

Spreading throughout the whole attraction, the fantastic hunt brings the museum alive, searching for the missing dinosaurs and solving the clues and puzzles, earning a Dinosaur Hunter’s medal! October Half Term

Haunted Haynes Week

Haynes International Motor Museum offers a family fun day out and this Halloween half term is the best time to visit! The ghosts have moved in to Haynes, you’ll get to meet all the ghouls on your journey through the museum looking at the beautiful cars on show. And make sure to try your hand at pumpkin carving before seeing if you can finished the Ghostly Charlie Crow Treasure Trail! Any child in fancy dress will also have free admission!
Dorchester Literary Festival

The Dorset scenery has inspired many famous authors, including Tom Hardy and Tracey Chevalier (who is the patron of the festival). The Dorchester Literary Festival is 5 days filled with fun and endless chances to hear your favourite author talk, from crim writer Minette Walters and Royal biographer Penny Junor, to Cricket commentator Henry Blofeld and comedian Christopher Biggins.
