At: Beaulieu When: 23rd April
In its 40th year, the Boatjumble at Beaulieu is the biggest and best in the south. There will be hundreds of stalls and stands to wander through, selling both new and used kit, clothes and even crafts! There will be boat parts, nauticalia, clothing, gadgets, rope and general jumble sales! Experts from the event sponsors – Practical Boat Owner, will be on hand to answer any and all questions, as well as giving talks on projects and issues encountered by the modern sailor. Entrance to the Boatjumble also gives you access to the many exciting attractions at Beaulieu, including the National Motor Museum, World of Top Gear, the Palace House, the Beaulieu Abbey and more!

At: Brownsea Island When: 14th – 17th April
Join in on the special Cadbury Easter Trail around the island, with a chocolatey prize at the end! There will be many other Easter activities on offer, and chances to explore the beautiful Brownsea Island.
nature detectives
At: Beaulieu When: 8th – 23rd April
Become a nature detective this Easter, along with other themed activities at Beaulieu. Meet Mr Nature Detective as he drives around the grounds in Willy’s jeep, make sure to grab pictures and explore nature with him! Collect your Nature Treasure Hunt trail bag and gather wildlife treasure along the Mill Pond Walk. Ride the monorail around the park and marvel at the giant griffin carving, carved from an oak tree! Have your face painted in a natured theme, choose a pretty butterfly or flower for Spring time fun! And don’t forget to tip toe to the Mill Pond Walk and visit the homes of the flower fairies, and see if you’re lucky enough to spot one popping their heads out of the door!

The Tank Museum is Dorset’s number one attraction, even appearing on TV with James May. With 8 powerful exhibitions, including tank action displays, the trench experience, vehicle conservation centre, all about the tank men, second world and learning about from warhorse to horsepower, it’s easy to see why it’s so popular! Easter is the first opportunity to see the new Tiger Exhibition, in a world first the museum will bring every member of the Tiger Tank family together in one display! Also enjoy the vehicle rides every day, and experience for yourself the thrill of riding in an M548 tracked vehicle, in a spectacular display of a working example of military hardware!
