Bodmin Jail will have some tricks and treats ready for your little ones this Halloween! Let the littles don their best fancy dress, then take part in the activities including a bat hunt, face painting and you can meet the Creepy Crawlies with various reptiles and owls on show, as well as the cinema room showing children’s movies to enjoy!

Pirate’s Quest throws a fabulous family friendly fright-fest every year! The wonderful walkthrough event will be full of tricks and treasures, your pirate guide will keep you safe on your journey through this thrilling experience. Journey back in time, 300 years and start your adventure with your buccaneer guide, who will be saving you from the sinking ship and take you through a secret passageway to explore further treasures! You’ll have the choice if you want to enter the scare section into Davy Jones’ Locker. There is also a teen terror walkthrough, which is scarier than the family friendly event, but less frightening than the late night Fright Night events. All these live scare events are always very popular and should be booked beforehand to avoid disappointment.

Can you solve the Murder at the Masquerade Ball? The atmosphere of Bodmin Jail lends itself perfectly to the Halloween murder mystery night, the Candlelight Theatre presents the fabulous show where you can see the staged murder plot unfolds before your eyes. You can question the cast for some extra clues, choose your suspect and find out what’s happening during this murder mystery.

Get your adrenaline pumping with this fangtastic live action zombie survival game. You’ll take on the hordes of zombies and try to get away using teamwork, logic, skill and intelligence (well that’s me out…) Bodmin Jail is one of Cornwall’s most haunted locations, and you’re about to find out why…

Visit Paradise Park, with a plethora of activities and gorgeous animals including over 140 species and over 50 birds to meet too! There is also an amazing indoor Jungle Barn centre to explore, which will be hosting the annual Halloween Disco on Friday 26th Oct, from 3pm – 6pm. Enjoy the family fun to be had at the disco, including spooky entertainment, a fancy dress competition, delicious food on offer including piping hot pumpkin soup!
