Beautiful scenery and historic happenings at The Wheal Martyn, make it one of the most popular places to visit in the area. Exciting outdoor activities including a fun Easter trail, where you will collect woodland clues to earn the Easter prizes at the end! Enjoy some campfire cooking, with a chocolate theme, make masks, build dens and go on a mini beast hunt! Outdoor family adventures at The Wheal Martyn this Easter!

 

Falmouth’s folk & cider fayre

At: Events Square When: 14th – 17th April

The fayre is part of the Falmouth’s Spring Festival, and is in its 5th year! You will experience the best West Country folk and cider, with a guaranteed great atmosphere and barrels of cider for the weekend! Test out your dancing feet at the Barn Dance, there will be traditional and acoustic artists from the UK to enjoy, with a marquee of food stalls to sample locally produced food, as well as arts and crafts stalls for unique gifts or mementoes. With over 70 classic ciders to try before you buy, there will be a tipple for every taste bud!

At: Camel Creek Adventure Park When: 14 – 17th April

Camel Creek Adventure Park is a popular attraction in South Cornwall, offering farm animal experiences and exciting rides for the thrill seekers. Venture to the park this Easter weekend for a free Easter egg for every child, and take part in the golden egg hunt and have a chance to win a family membership to the park, as well as an Easter surprise! Explore the park and meet the new spring arrivals, from the curly-tailed piglets to the feeding lambs and rabbits you can hold – keep an eye for the Easter bunny too!

At: Flambards When: 1st – 23rd April

Join in the Big Easter Egg Hunt at Flambards, with plenty of entertainment, as well as meet and greets from Flambard’s mascot Ferdi Fox! Make sure to explore the park and see how many Easter eggs you find! Explore the Jurassic themed landscapes spotting giant dinosaur eggs, baby dinos and a nest of Pteranodon hatchlings. Meet over a dozen dinos and come face to face with ferocious Velociraptors. There is the opportunity to have your own Dino Dig, where you discover a sabre-tooth tiger skeleton and a host of baby dinos hatching from their eggs! Join in on the Victorian Easter Egg Trail, explore the Victorian Village using the Penny Dreadful and pound the cobbled streets to find out fascinating facts! On selected days throughout the holidays, Flambards will be hosting family entertainment, including Magically Billy Wizz, a ‘Wild Hands-on Experience’ with some creepy crawlies and loads more!

At: Paradise Park When: 1st – 17th April

Complete the egg trail around the park and claim chocolaty treat! Keep an eye out for all the spring babies around the park and enjoy some of the new shows on offer. Including the Eagles of Paradise display and the Free Flying Bird Show, where you can get up close and personal with the macaws, owls and eagles as they fly above your head!

Pirate Quest is one of the most popular attractions in Cornwall, with live action actors walking you through an experience all about the history of Cornish Pirates! A brand new mission is set afoot at Pirates Quest, help the crew find the golden egg treasure before the Pirate Hunters find you!

 

With so much on in Falmouth this Easter, Mullion Cove is the perfect place to base yourself to explore and enjoy the area!
