spooky farm fun & pumpkin patch

Where: Tapnell Farm Park / Dates: 19th Oct – 3rd Nov / Times: 10am – 5pm / Prices: Adult £9.50, Child £11.50

Enjoy two whole weeks of Halloween happenings at Tapnell Farm Park, the Bugs & Beasties Show will delight all ages, along with The Bat Hospital and The Snake Lady. The Little Monsters Ball starts off pumpkin week at Tapnell Farm, there will be glow sticks a plenty and music to boogie down to with Wanda the Witch. Visit the pumpkin tent for the Pimp Your Pumpkin workshop and create a showstopper to take home with you. There are endless Halloween activities to get stuck into with your little ones at Tapnell.


spooky carisbrooke castle

Where: Carisbrooke Castle / Dates: 26th Oct – 3rd Nov / Times: 10am – 4pm / Prices: Adult £10.40, Child £6.20

Explore the stunning and historic castle while taking part in the creepy craft workshops available! The wicked witch-themed quest will have you discovering parts of the castle, and don’t forget to don your best fancy dress for the competition. You’ll meet some interesting creatures in the creepy crawly sessions, including snakes and spiders.

Where: Blackgang Chine / Dates: 19th – 27th Oct / Times: 10am – 5pm / Prices: £25 per person

Blackgang Chine is one of the island’s most popular attractions and will have a huge range of Halloween themed activities to keep the whole family entertained! Get involved with the Halloween crafting workshops, find your way out of the fun Boo Maze and see if you can finish the Halloween quest. wizard week

Where: IOW Steam Railway / Dates: 27th – 31st Oct / Selected Times / Prices: Adult £15, Child £ 7

The steam train will take you and your family on a magical journey around the island on a Halloween decorated train. Enjoy the magic shows from the friendly witches of Havenstreet, they will be asking for help with their magic spells and potion making! Come dressed in your favourite Halloween costume and enter the competition to be within a chance to win a prize, or try your hand at the Halloween Treasure Hunt.


festival of light: inspired by diwali

Where: Robin Hill Country Park / Dates: 27th Sept – 2nd Nov / Times: 6pm – 10pm / Prices: £16.75 per person

The Festival of Light is a huge hit with local residents and holiday guests a like on the island, returning again this year to showcase some of the best light-tricks, acrobatics and circus skills you’ll ever see. The spectacular finale is inspired the colourful Diwali festival, this year there is a 5 minute documentary all about the spice trade, with Zome Structures where you’ll be surrounded by the smell of spices. Head through to the new Neon Jungle, which offers a calm and celestial feel to the woodland ponds with the added projections and illuminations.
