The Swanage Rep company are offering a 3 week season in August 2019, with 3 exciting theatre shows for all the family! Bringing theatre back to the heart of Swanage, witness a talented group of actors tackle each play and marvel at the transformation of each set.

The Plays

All shows feature classic stories that everyone can enjoy, including a dedicated family show helping to entertain the little one’s during their Summer holidays.

The 39 Steps will be offering a fun and eventful night in the theatre, where an unexpected murder takes place in this fast-paced and bone-ticklingly funny play.

Head back in time with Keeping Up Appearances, with Haycinth ‘Bouquet’ taking to stage in a local amateur dramatics production directed by Emmet. Hilarity inevitably ensues with all your TV favourites making an appearance.

Wait Until Dark is the play behind the 1967 thriller which won Audrey Hepburn her Best Actress Oscar. All centred around a valuable doll her blind owner, can the thieves steal their prize without her knowing?

Ticket prices range from £8 – £12, so with prices like these holding the promise of a fabulous night at the theatre, why not book on their website here, and take a look at the wonderful group of actors too!
