Swanage Blues Festival 2019
Head to the biggest party in town! The Swanage Blues Festival 2019 is set in and around the Dorset seaside town, it takes place twice a year and is one of the most popular events in the county’s community calendar
Taking over the entire town from October 3rd to October 6th 2019 , the four-day festival is always held in the beautiful coastal location of Swanage and is know worldwide.
Known as one of the must see festivals in Dorset, the Swanage Blues Festival first started in March 2001 after preparations for a birthday party rapidly escalated and the rest of the town’s pubs and restaurants wanted to get involved! The October festival was then later added in 2007.
Promising only the best of the blues, the October festival will host 60 great gigs from 40 amazing acts across 15 indoor venues. A wide range of venues, restaurants and bars in Swanage have got involved with this fantastic event to celebrate blues music in its entirety.

You can catch an eclectic mix of UK blues acts throughout the four days some of which include Zoe Schwarz Blue Commotion, Riverside Blues Band, The Milk Men and The Blues Issues all offering a taste of the blues.
A full line up of entertainment is planned for the event, including acts such as Robin Bibi Blues Jam and The Great West Groove ‘Blues Dance Session’ featuring Terry Marshall. As well as the Swanage Blues Festival offering jam-packed a live music event for the full four days.
