With over 70 traditional wood chalets lining the streets in the heart of Chester, the Chester Christmas Market is the place to be this festive season! There is an abundance of festive treats and gifts on offer, with quality local and regional products to browse through and find something for that special someone. With handmade crafts, clothing, accessories, jewellery and unique gifts and stocking fillers to marvel at while strolling through, you are sure to find something for everyone, and don’t forget to sample the delicious hot food on offer, as well as the festive tipples, tasty mulled wine and hot chocolate to keep you warm while wandering the market.
Wrexham victorian christmas market 2016

The Wrexham Christmas Market is a tradition in the North Wales region, with over 70 stalls around the city centre, hosting gifts, toys, crafts, local food, mulled wine, Christmas wreaths and endless festive themed goodies. This eagerly awaited event drawers thousands of shoppers every year, and is located in the most picturesque part of the town, the market is a bustling and attractive centre during the day, and really comes into its own and takes on a magical look as the darkness of the evening approaches. As well as all the handmade gifts, there will be local producers on hand to take turkey orders for those living locally, as well as everyone being treated to mouth watering food from the stalls, such as pies, cakes, brownies, local cheeses, German sausages, festive mince pies as well as festive drinks, beers, mulled wine and traditional fresh-from-the-griddle Welshcakes! There will also be live music from choirs and bands around the beautiful Parish Church of St Giles. A true Welsh cultured Christmas Market!

If you are looking for an unconventional North Wales Christmas Market this year, then Surf Snowdonia is the place for you! Surrounded by the magical Snowdonia Mountain Range and offering the UK’s first man made Surfing pool, Surf Snowdonia is branching out this year to host a fabulous Christmas Market located in their Glamping village onsite. There will be a fantastic festive atmosphere, with a fire pit, brilliant live music, not available on the high street Christmas shopping, with everything from handmade gifts to locally crafted furniture and festive decorations! There will obviously be a lot of surfing going on, but there will also be a very cute Victorian carousel, a mouth watering hog roast, mulled wine and local ale. The children will be enthralled with the beautiful Santa’s Grotto at Surf Snowdonia, where the jolly man himself will be handing out presents!
