Ilfracombe Christmas Market will have a wonderful switching on the lights celebration on 25th November, along with a latern parade through the town from the local schools. The cast of A Christmas Carol will be performing for your delight, and Santa will be dropping by in his sleigh!
The rest of the Ilfracombe Christmas Market Weekend will be family festive fun with street stalls filled with handmade gifts and delicious freshly cooked treats. Santa’s Grotto will be the place to be for the little ones, with food vendors lining the streets making your mouth water, the bars will also be open if you fancy a festive beverage as well some great live music around the streets too.
The Ilfracombe Christmas Market Week has a family friendly feel, with a children’s outdoor play area, workshops for the little ones to make cards and decorations, a fun children’s disco and fancy dress competition! There will also be a raffle, carol service, Christmas parade and finishing off with fireworks at the Ilfracombe Harbour.
