Ilfracombe is a lovely town to visit at any time of the year, but really comes alive at Christmas!
Beach Cove Costal Retreat is a quiet escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, a place to go and relax on the Cliffside of one of Britain’s most beautiful bays. This doesn’t change as it comes into the winter months, it is even more special to see the weather change from our beach hut accommodation and visit the small town of Ilfracombe and see the festive season set in. For one day only the town of Ilfracombe is turned into a winter wonderland of gifts, jolly entertainment and festive food!

With stalls that will have a wide range of gifts, cards and crafts on offer this quaint Christmas market is a must-visit for anyone in the area. With clothing, textiles and woodwork handmade presents on offer, as well as hats and scarves to keep you warm, you will find something for everyone. There are sideshows and street entertainments throughout the day too, with jugglers and performances by the local theatre group. Lined up and down the street there will be Christmas carollers and local musicians to get you in the festive spirit! There will also be many street food vendors, grab a glass of mulled wine and a mince pie then go along and meet Santa Claus himself! You may have to take an extra mince pie – we all know how he likes those!
