Heartlands is a spectacular place and with so much going on this Halloween it is the place to be!

Mullion Cove Coastal Retreat is in a stunning part of the Cornwall coast line, during Halloween this turns into a spooky, hauntingly beautiful place with tales of terror for families and spook-seakers alike! Here are a few events going on around the Cornwall area over Halloween 2015.

haunted halloween ball

A ghoulish Halloween ball for the children is what All Hallows’ Eve is all about, and with our very own Sandymouth Holiday Home Park so close to the ball it would be a shame to miss out! Taking place at the Heartlands Visitor Centre, the Haunted Halloween Ball is a fangtastic disco for the kids, all ghouls, ghosts, spooks and vampires welcome! Join in with the Halloween games, enter the pumpkin carving competition and see if you will be crowned the pumpkin king or queen! There are delicious snacks for the little monsters included in the ticket price, and the amazing Red River Grill will be open for the adults to have a drink and something to eat as well! The kids will delight in fright at the scary and creepy animal experiences on offer with creepy crawlies and spooky spiders galore, pop along and see what tickles your fancy!

trick or treat halloween fireworks

Everyone loves fireworks at any time of year, but when it’s at a theme park and during Halloween? There is nothing better! With spine tingling rides, exhibitions and fangtastic entertainment this would a great family day out! Your tickets are valid all day, so you could spend the whole day here with the kids and have a fiendishly fun day on rides like the Thunderbolt and traditional Carousel! Any little Jack Sparrows this Halloween can jump on the pirate ship, everyone can join in on the Spooky Pumpkin Trail through the creepy Victorian village – find as many as you can without getting too scared! Top your day off with the amazing 15 minute firework display in the night, stand and oo and ahh with the best of them this Halloween!

spooky halloween tours

This is a wonderfully terrifying Halloween treat set in the night time surroundings of the beautiful and ancient Pendennis Castle. There are two kinds of tours, a family friendly one at 6pm so the little ones can enjoy the history and ghosts without being too scared. And the adults-only tours at 7pm and 8pm, over 16’s only at this eerie evening tour. Enjoy this after-hours journey of the castle with the spine tingling story teller who will tell you tales of ghostly apparitions and dastardly deeds of times gone by. Travel back in time to when gruesome goings-on were a way of life, and encounter some of the past residents of the stunning Pendennis Castle that refuse to leave their haunting place. With the kids tours lasting around 30 minutes, and the adults last approximately 45 minutes these tours are a great bargain and loads of fun this Halloween!

Happy halloweening ghosts and ghouls! Have a fangtastic half term and Halloween!
