Ghost Walk Tours

The ghost walk tours were started in 1974 by the local historian and psychic of Bath, they have attracted visitors from all over the globe in hopes of seeing some ghostly goings-on and hearing some terrifying tales. The tour will take you to the famous places noted for their strange events, so you can sample the atmosphere and the historic tales will make you imagine the situations. With everything so well documented, there will be no disputes over the spooky tales, visit the Assembly Rooms where the famous Man in the Black Hat takes his frequent strolls and learn all about one of the most-sighted ghosts! Longleat Halloween Festival

Enjoy one of the UK’s most popular attractions with added spook! See all the glorious animals on your travel around the park, the cheeky monkeys, the stunning lions and the amazing giraffes are just some of the animals in residency at Longleat. During Halloween the ghouls and ghosts take over the park and the spectacular house, find the scary skeletons in the brand new skeleton maze. Jump on the ghost train and take a ride and find all the scary secrets of the Longleat house, visit Dracula’s bat cave, see the witches coven and join in on the trick or treat trail. Learn fascinating facts whilst up close and personal with the resident creepy crawlies in the Nasty but Nice shows over the Halloween half term. At an extra cost of £7.50 you can join in the creepy Ghost Tour of Longleat House, prepare yourself for a spooky encounter on your journey into the history of one of Britain’s oldest houses. Fancy dress is completely encouraged for the event and end the night with a fangtastic fireworks show which is set to a thrilling soundtrack! A great way to spend Halloween 2015!


Murder Mystery Train

Departing from the Avon Valley Express train station, this fun-filled evening is perfect for any adults looking for something spooktacular this Halloween. Set in the detective genre, indulge in an evening of mystery and murder. The victims and suspects will all gather before departure on the platform for an exciting evening ahead. Plots will be unmasked, there will be intrigue and, of course, murders. You will be asked to help the Chief Inspector unravel the mystery and solve the murders; suspects will enact scenes with various clues, so pay attention! You will get a chance to interrogate them and then, over a lovely cup of coffee, you will be asked the final, and most important question of the night, whodunnit? All this fun and also a delicious meal and gloriously tasty dessert is covered in your ticket price; chat and solve the crime over a lovely dinner at this unmissable Halloween event!
