Darwin Escapes CupCake Day
Darwin Escapes had helped raise some funds for Alzheimer’s Society CupCake Day!
Here at DE HQ we love to help raise some funds for a well deserving charity, and if we get to eat cake while doing so, even better! The Alzheimer’s Society asks people to host their own CupCake Day in aide of raising funds for anyone who is affected by Dementia. There is currently no cure for Dementia, but The Alzheimer’s Society are working tirelessly to change this and CupCake Days have helped to raise £1.4 million since 2016!
Below are some images of the Darwin Escapes HQ team’s cupcakes, we went all out with unicorn colourful cupcakes, buttercream cakes, a delicious marble cake, Nutella muffins and so much more…
Our cakes were all delicious and as you can imagine there wasn’t any left at the end of the day – we love raising funds for good causes and The Alzheimer’s Society is such a fantastic cause and just £50 pays for a fabulous communication tool that uses symbols rather than words to help people with advanced dementia communicate to their friends and family, helping with their feelings of isolation and loneliness.
Organising your CupCake Day is so easy, and it’s never too late, take a look at The Alzheimer’s Society’s website for more information about how you can help raise funds for this wonderful charity today!
