Spending time in Cornwall this Christmas? Well here are some Christmas events to get you in the festive mood!

Sandymouth is a family friendly park, with a fun atmosphere. We have great facilities to offer everyone during the summer months. The local area is still teaming with great things to explore during the winter! The BIG Sheep is an amazing theme park, farmers market, and just all round great time, who always go all out for every occasion, and Christmas is no exception! Bude is a beautiful town with plenty to see and do this festive season!

Bude castle christmas fair

The Castle Bude is a stunning building that was owned by a renowned Victorian inventor Sir Goldsworthy Gurney, that is now a heritage centre to learn all about the castle, and the surrounding town of Bude. Set in stunning grounds the castle, The Christmas fair is the perfect place to get you in the Christmas spirit, with an abundance of local food on offer, including mince pies obviously and, of course, mulled wine. As well as quality gift and craft stalls to have a look over and find that perfect gift someone special! All for one day only at The Castle Bude, pop on down and take a look!

the big sheep christmas celebrations

The BIG Sheep always go all out at any event, so there is no wonder for Christmas that they have outdone themselves as well. They have a whole month’s worth of events to go along to, from fun Christmas toddler take-overs to Breakfast with Santa. Santa will you his undivided attention over a delicious hot breakfast, you can get a Christmas balloon and an “I’ve met Santa” certificate to show all your friends! Or drop into the Woolly’s Wonderland and try some ice skating, tobogganing or have a go at their amazing snowboard simulator! You can also meet Santa here too, get an early Christmas gift and meet his very secret VIP guest! (I’m guessing Rudolph?!). If this all wasn’t enough, you could pop along to the Christmas Markets, with over 50 food stalls in attendance as well as a second undercover canopy for hand made gifts and crafts! This traditional farmers market will free range turkeys, cheeses, pies, pasties and as well as cakes, fudge, puddings and special handmade chocolate!

Both of these events are sure to put the Christmas cheer into anyone, even the biggest Grinch!
