Visit the Adventure on the high seas exhibition and meet Sir Frances Drake, he will recount his 3 year journey around the globe, returning in 1580 when he became the first captain to have successfully sailed around the world (and looted it too!). The Elizabethan Music & Dance exhibition showcases an important part of Tudor life, and you can try your own hand at playing musical instruments from the era as well as learning popular dances of the day! There will be plenty of Tudor games and pastimes, along with learning how Shakespere helped to create an age of mass entertainment, with food and drink on offer at the banquet court too.
