Our romantic and quirky Beach Cove location on the Devonshire coast is the perfect base for the August Bank Holiday events in and around Ilfracombe!

 

Ilfracombe is a picturesque seaside town near our one of a kind Beach Cove Coastal Retreat, complete with quirky and colourful beach hut accommodation and a stunning Cliffside view, you will be in heaven here this August Bank Holiday, while attending some of the events going on in the local area!

 


Landmark beer & music festival

When: 26th – 29th August 2016

Taking place at the Landmark Pavillion in Ilfracombe town centre, the Landmark Beer & Music Festival is an annual event which draws hundreds of people from around the UK! Free live music from fantastic local bands all weekend, real ale and cider tents to test your tastebuds along with a range of culinary delights. The little ones will also have plenty to do with the dedicated kids activities and plenty of craft stalls too.


Borough Farm: farmyard show

When: 23rd August

Have some morning fun at Borough Farm with Alife, the sheepdog, as he tries to save Jemima the duck from the castle, with help from the fairy pig mother Mary and Felicity the cart sheep! A morning show you will remember with farmyard animal fun! Tea, coffee and farmhouse cakes will be on offer as well as a BBQ after the show too, take a wander around the farm to meet the animals and a take a look at their summer programme with fun falconry and sheepdog displays.


Atlantic Village summer fun

When: throughout the summer holidays

Inside the shopping village there will be loads of summer fun to be had for all the family, including table tennis and giant connect 4 all day, as well as a food and craft fair, treasure hunt weekend and face painting! Family fun to be had at Atlantic Village this summer.


Hele Bay and Ilfracombe are fantastic places to explore using Beach Cove as your base, don’t forget to pop into town for the Ilfracombe Carnival Procession through the high street, with an eclectic mix of floats to cheer on, all while raising money for local charities.
