Set in a traditional seaside location, Sandymouth offers only the best activities full of fun for October Half Term…

Take your little spooks on a holiday trip to Sandymouth Holiday Resort and whilst you’re there take advantage of the wide variety of Halloween themed activities being hosted in Bude for Halloween 2017!

We’ve put together a list of some of the spookiest events on offer in Bude for Halloween Half Term …


Circus Funtasia

Where: Kingshill Industrial Estate / When: 4th – 8th Oct / Times Vary / Price: Adult £20 Child £18

Although this is a little before half term, we didn’t want you to miss out on this adrenaline filled show! Lasting just under 2 hours, you’ll witness death-defying motorbike stunts, tight rope walking, heart-stopping roller skating, non stop comedy and loads more! This fantastic show is catered to all ages, located inside the heated big top you’ll also find delicious popcorn and candyfloss, as well as fun face painting! Little Monsters Halloween Events

Where: Wyevale Garden Centre / When: 16th Oct – 5th Nov / Times & Prices Vary Depending on Activity

Wyevale Garden Centre is always filled with family fun events and Halloween half term is sure to be bursting at the seems with spooktacular fun! Join in at the Haunted Heather planting and decorate your spooky pot, or design and create your very own spider finger puppet and some frightful paper plate friends! Don’t forget to go to the Halloween Party with delicious chocolate dipped apples, as well as spooky trail to follow and other spooktacular activities, as well as pumpkin carving and phantom lanterns you can create!


Roald Dahl’s Hallowden

Where: The Eden Project / When: 21st – 29th Oct / Times: 9.30am – 6pm / Prices: Adults £27.50, Child £14

Are you brave enough to get face to face with Dahl’s most terrible villains from 5 of his best selling books! Meet Boggis, Bunce and Bean and tunnel into the farm with Fantastic Mr Fox, enter the schoolyard and be put through your paces with the Trunchball test and join in with the mystical and magical world through The BFG’s cave. Visit Mr & Mrs Twists house, but beware of the trick and pranks inside! The ice rink will also be in full swing for everyone to enjoy!


Appleby Festival of Fire & Light

Where: Appleby Castle / When: 28th Oct / Times: 5.30pm – 9pm / Prices: Free

Take part in the lantern procession at 6pm, starting at Market Square and walking to the beautiful Appleby Castle. At the castle you can enjoy lots of spooky activities, live street performances and wonderful circus performances!


Little Monsters Ball

Where: The Eden Project / When: 28th Oct / Times: 6pm – 9pm / Prices: £7.50 per person

This fancy dress funtastic ball will have you dancing the night away! There will be two spooktacular discos, the family fun Rave-A-Roo and the Olive Grooveyard DJ’d by Spookmonster Mas! There will also be a trick or treat trail through the Biomes to enjoy as well as lots of ghostly grub to get your hands on!
