Visit the ever popular Camel Creek during Halloween half term for a very spooky and endless programme of activities! There are two ‘scare zones’, on aimed at children ages 7+, along one for those with a more nervous disposition. Enjoy the Witch’s Grotto, the grim reaper ghost train, plenty of spooky games to join in on, a fantastic mystical magic show, freak face painting and every child in fancy dress gets a free gift too!

Pirate’s Quest throws a fabulous family friendly fright-fest every year! The wonderful walkthrough event will be full of tricks and treasures, your pirate guide will keep you safe on your journey through this thrilling experience. Journey back in time, 300 years and start your adventure with your buccaneer guide, who will be saving you from the sinking shop and take you through a secret passageway to explore further treasures! You’ll have the choice if you want to enter the scare section into Davy Jones’ Locker. There is also a teen terror walkthrough, which is scarier than the family friendly event, but less frightening than the late night Fright Night events. All these live scare events are always very popular and should be booked beforehand to avoid disappointment.

Visit the historical Bodmin Jail for some spooktacular family fun this Halloween! The party will include frightful face painting, a fun fancy dress competition, as well as Horrible History Tour of the jail, along with the chance to meet the creepy crawlies, reptiles & owls. There is also a cinema room where your little ones can watch Goosebumps and Horrible Histories! Surrounded by the dramatic and atmospheric grounds of Bodmin Jail, you’ll help to solve the Halloween themed murder! The murder plot will unfold before your eyes at this wonderful and interactive show presented by the Candlelight Theatre.

Visit Paradise Park, with a plethora of activities and gorgeous animals including over 140 species and over 50 birds to meet too! There is also an amazing indoor Jungle Barn centre to explore, which will be hosting the annual Halloween Disco on Friday 27th Oct, from 3pm – 6pm. Enjoy the family fun to be had at the disco, including spooky entertainment, a fancy dress competition, delicious food on offer including piping hot pumpkin soup!
