Only open 5 days throughout the year and is just outside of August, but definitely worth visiting if you’re in the area. Walk the gently rising mine track and marvel at the winding beck below and sheer dark face of the Force Crag. For over 200 years the isolated area has been mined for lead, barites and zine. Learn about the fascinating and extensive history of the mine.
