Taking place at Osborne House, this event has the spirit of a Victorian Christmas. With traditional Victorian games, a glorious carousel and many jovial entertainers to add to the Victorian feel! With handmade cards, crafts and kids workshops, where they can make their own traditional toys, as well as a very talented Victorian Falconer to marvel at and roasted chestnuts filling the air, it is sure to be a good day. Have a wander around the festive-themed rooms and meet Queen Victoria and even Santa Claus if you’re lucky! It’s like that Blackadder Christmas Carol, what more could you want?!

wight christmas at the needles

The Needles holds the island’s most famous Santa Grotto, they go all-out for the jolly old fella and the families that visit him! Santa is in residence here every weekend leading up to Christmas, and with each child receiving a quality gift from Santa it is even more worth going to visit him – that is not the real meaning of Christmas kids! (it is really…) Have a go on the children’s rides, or try your hand at the Jurassic golf course, marvel at the sweet making and glass making demonstrations, and even go and see the elves workshop! A must visit event if you are spending any time this season on the island.
